    Objectives

    1. To enable staff to widen their scope of knowledge, have better access to  subject reference books and effectuate the development of human resources;

    2. To ensure better information exchange in communication with international organization;

    3. To enable wider use of internet and development of e-commerce through establishing a wider range of contacts with multinational corporations and world-famous business firms; and

    4.  To develop human resources qualitatively in order that the efficiency and effectiveness of Myanma Timber Enterprise can be promoted

          1.    Books on philosophy, religion, economics, social, management, languages, natural science, applied science, arts, geography, history, accountancy, biography and novels numbering 2,000 and representing 14 genres.

          2.    Papers, reports, lecture notes, journals and magazines totaling 1,000, and

          3.    CDs numbering 500 of application, office, business, education and general.

 The list of people Authorized to have Access to the Library

1.        1.    All the employees of Myanma Timber Enterprise inclusive of the retired.

     2.    Well-wishers who have contributed kyat one lakh and above worth library furniture and facilities.

     3.    The representatives of the companies recommended by a department head and

     4.    Those involved in research and development and recommended by a department head.

    Those entitled to apply for membership of the library

           1.    All the employees of Myanma Timber Enterprise inclusive of the retired and

     2.    Well-wishers who have contributed kyat one lakh and above worth library furniture and facilities. 

Membership Fees

          1.    The reference books cannot be taken out of the library.

          2.    They shall be returned immediately after reading in the library.
